Ranpac was founded in 1976 by Won Sang Yoo as a land planning and civil engineering firm in Murrieta, in the Southwest Riverside County area of Southern California. The civil engineering portion later became a separate sister company called Trans-Pacific Consultants, Inc. (TPC).
Ranpac quickly established itself as a leader in the land development industry and has been solving large-scale and complex problems since its inception for the private sector, as well as public agencies. Ranpac has designed and developed over 10 master-planned communities, over 30,000 single-family lots, and over 600 acres of commercial in California, Nevada, Saipan, and South Korea.
